Elaine B. Rich, CFP® Owner/Wealth Advisor
What do you enjoy most about becoming the Family CFO?
When clients share their most personal life and financial goals with me and I become their trusted partner in helping them achieve those goals; I cannot think of a more honorable position to hold. It is my privilege to serve them.
What do you love most about being a part of EnRich?
I love being part of a team of professionals whose mission is to help our clients align their money with their life. Together, we work diligently to bring them lasting financial peace of mind.
What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am quite proud of the planning-focused practice we have built here at EnRich. I believe we offer something hard to find in today’s fast-paced, mobile-device driven world; very personalized service. I am proud of my decision to open my own independent planning practice in my late twenties and enter into a field dominated by my male colleagues. I am committed to helping women achieve economic empowerment in our community. For the past several years, I have volunteered my time on A Fund for Women’s Special Events Committee. I currently sit on the board of The Business Forum, Inc. a Madison-based professional women’s group whose mission is to help one another make connections and a difference. Supporting and spreading financial literacy among women has been important to me since my very first investments course in high school.
What qualities of yours make you best suited to what you do?
My passion lies in helping our clients navigate the complex world of financial planning.
How should people think about their wealth?
It is a means to achieve the life they envision for themselves, their family, loved ones and other things they care about.
What do you love to do outside of work?
With Chris, my husband and business partner at EnRich, I spend my time creating meaningful experiences with our two children, Jackie and Henry, our extended family and friends. We love traveling abroad, making it a goal to do so annually. We also love food and wine and trying new restaurants. I always look forward to my ladies golf league where I reconnect each summer with my golfing gals.
What would you be doing if you weren’t working with EnRich?
Being a Family CFO is so ingrained in my DNA it is hard to imagine not always being a part of the planning community. If I had more time, I’d work to bring basic financial literacy into the public school system, regularly attend my book club meetings and make it to more theatrical performances. I especially enjoy American Players Theatre.
